I believe that self-care is integral to holistic wellness for all people in every stage of life.

I have taught dance, yoga and meditation to pre-school and kindergarten age children, childbirth education to teenage mothers, and wellness courses to adults and college age students.

As Swarthmore College’s first full-time Wellness Program Manager, I took a lot of initiative to mold and shape my position as well as wellness programming at Swarthmore. Before I arrived, there was no formal wellness program in place, so I was given the opportunity to build it from the ground up.

I launched the Wellness Seminar, a full-semester course, which aimed to help students engage in the pro-active process of becoming aware of and making choices for a more enriching existence. It provided an interesting and relevant program that gave students a base of knowledge that promoted a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit.

As a self-care consultant I have worked with a variety of populations including but not limited to: college students, women, mothers, and sexual assault survivors on the following areas:

Stress Management

Foundations of Healthy Relationships

Self Love

Creating Boundaries

Navigating Difference
